Job summary

GEARYS Beverly Hills is seeking an on-site IT/Help Desk Specialist to support staff and end-users across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and telephony while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of IT experience, strong communication skills, and solid knowledge of MS 365 apps, Active Directory, and basic networking. Retail POS experience is a plus and the role offers a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support experience across end-users and staff
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with MS 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AD
• Basic networking concepts (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Experience with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and telephony
• Retail POS experience is a plus

Come join the best team in Luxury Retail with growth opportunities and excellent benefits!**Responsibilities:**- Provide technical support for all levels of staff and end-users.- Interact with users via phone, email, and chat to resolve issues efficiently.- Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication & troubleshooting.- Provide end-user technical support, including troubleshooting and administration of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and telephony- Work within a centralized ticketing system to respond to users and document resolutions.- Collaborate with employees, consultants, and vendors to maintain standards and functionality- Utilize third-party/partner technical resources to solve problems where necessary.- Coordinate preparation and installation of new computing equipment and upgrade/repair existing equipment- Assist with IT projects and tasks as assigned by the IT Manager- Maintain hardware and software inventory.**Requirements:**- 2+ years of experience providing IT support to all levels of end-users.- Ability to work effectively, both individually and as part of a team.- Critical thinker and problem-solver with strong organizational skills- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks- Self-starter, energetic, and meticulous attention to detail- Superior communication, documentation, and customer service skills.- General competencies in M365 applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.- Functional understanding of network infrastructure: routers, switches, and firewalls.- Basic understanding of Windows Servers, including Active Directory- Knowledge of VOIP, RMM, EDR and MDR systems will be considered a plus.- Previous experience with POS in Retail preferredThis is an hourly, full-time role paying between $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
