Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, invites applications for our 2027 Summer Internship Program in Salina, KS. The Information Technology Intern will work on-site with the IT department on a project related to helpdesk duties.

Interns work full-time from mid-May to early-August, earning $20 per hour. Housing is provided for interns outside the Salina area, and a mentor-supported experience includes social activities with other interns and GPM employees.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant Engineering major.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS area for the duration of the Summer.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening within a week of first day.
• Proof of identity and legal work authorization in the United States (I-9) on first day.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for commute and activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT Department on a project related to the helpdesk.
• Assist with general helpdesk duties.
• Gain practical work experience with mentor and peers.

Education

Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant major)
