Job summary

Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. is seeking a proactive Help Desk Technician to resolve IT issues for a multi-state litigation firm. You will provide Tier 1 support via phone, email, and chat, diagnose problems, and escalate where appropriate, while maintaining superb customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a technical help desk or service desk environment.
• Proven experience with Microsoft products and remote user support tools.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer service focus.
• Autonomy and ownership of issues.
• Prior experience in a law firm, legal claims platforms, or commercial legal software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, prioritize, and resolve Help Desk tickets within SLAs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PC hardware, software, LAN and WAN issues.
• Perform routine system maintenance and cleanups.
• Execute onboarding and offboarding procedures for personnel.
• Escort and collaborate with visiting vendors to maintain security protocols.
• Document support interactions and escalate to Tier 2/3 as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline IT operations.
