Job summary

Foundation for a Just Society (FJS) seeks an IT Help Desk Associate to assist the IT Administrator with managing and supporting IT infrastructure for FJS and partner entities, including Felicity House, Nick Simons Foundation, and MJS Foundation. You will handle inquiries, diagnose issues, and remotely support staff across Windows, macOS, and networked systems.

Qualifications

Two+ years IT support experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience with Apple products (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone).
Experience with Windows and Synology servers.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video conferencing, and remote desktop software.
Networking configuration knowledge.
Strong familiarity with digital security best practices.
Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and support for inquiries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Diagnose and resolve system errors, network problems, and other IT issues.
Respond to inquiries via chat, email, or phone and guide users to solutions.
Remotely access hardware or software to implement changes and fix problems.
Install, update, configure, or repair hardware, software, and operating systems.
Maintain LAN/WAN and other networked systems.
Provide entry-level website support – Wordpress, image editing, and video editing.
Train staff on self-troubleshooting and best practices.
