Job summary

Sprout is seeking an IT Specialist to diagnose and refurbish electronics in a warehouse setting. You will operate proprietary and third‑party software to manage assets, inventory, and data sanitation while coordinating daily activities of junior technicians.

The role requires comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and English proficiency (Spanish preferred). The team emphasizes reliability and continuous learning in a green IT lifecycle environment.

• Knowledge of different computer components and hardware.
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• English proficiency; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Runs diagnostics on electronics including laptops, tablets, servers, and networking equipment.
• Operates specialized equipment and uses proprietary software.
• Uses sERP to inventory devices and sort components by attributes.
• Coordinates and supervises Level 3 and Level 4 Operators.
• Understands production system and processes (inbound/outbound shipping, shop orders, inventory).
• Familiar with third-party software (Softhinks, Future Dial, Kronos, EPS, WipeOS).
• Opens/closes shop orders and interprets them.
• Types data accurately and uses MS Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel.
