Job summary

Smith is seeking DCS Specialists to support a variety of inbound and outbound Operations process requirements, following instruction and written procedures. Inbound tasks include receiving, inspection, sorting, teardown, cataloging, testing, quality control and WCX system receiving of IT units and commodities.

Outbound tasks include pulling inventory, labeling, QC, and packaging of IT units. Responsibilities include staging, organizing, testing, and cataloguing electronic hardware, erasing data

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience assembling, inspecting, and testing IT hardware.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Self-motivated with high productivity and teamwork.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Stage, organize, and process purchase order materials.
• Inspect, test, and catalogue electronic hardware (servers, workstations, network gear, spare parts).
• Erase data from storage devices and reset devices to factory specs.
• Provide status updates on purchase orders and deadlines.
• Assist in meeting project deadlines and coordinate with supervisor and manager.
• Maintain ESD and safety/environmental policies.
• Assist Operations and other departments as needed.
