Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
• Ability to diagnose hardware/software/network issues and implement fixes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware and peripheral equipment (PCs, Macs, network hardware).
• Install and configure hardware/software per department requirements.
• Maintain inventory records of equipment.
• Design network cable plans for installations or modifications.
• Explain revisions in software packages to users.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network problems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Inspect and clean equipment; analyze issues and take corrective actions.
• Serve as a resource and troubleshooter for department staff.
• Collaborate well with others and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
