Job summary

ICF is seeking a team lead for NIH IT Governance workstream support in the Washington, DC area. The role balances tactical leadership with strategic, growth-oriented responsibilities, reporting to the Program Manager and coordinating with other workstream leads.

Ideal candidates have a BA and at least five years of Federal IT governance experience, with strong communication and advisory skills to work with senior government stakeholders. In-person attendance in Bethesda, MD is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading federal consulting teams and advising senior government stakeholders.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to operate independently in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the NIH IT Governance workstream, including staffing, priorities, schedules and deliverables.
• Partner with the Program Manager to shape contract strategy and translate NIH OCIO priorities into actionable plans.
• Provide forward-looking recommendations to federal leadership and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-workstream leads to integrate priorities and develop solutions across OCIO areas.
