Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Executive Director, IT Governance and Compliance to lead enterprise-wide governance, risk management, and portfolio oversight for a 150-application environment. You will partner with the CIO and business leaders to align IT investments with strategic priorities.

The role requires deep FDA compliance experience, a record of building policy frameworks, and the ability to drive audit readiness and regulatory inspections while optimizing performance and controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with governance, risk, and PMO leadership.
• 7+ years in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience establishing enterprise IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Experience managing IT portfolios, demand intake, prioritization, and investment reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead IT governance framework across consolidated digital organization.
• Define and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead governance forums for architecture, change, and demand intake.
• Own IT policy lifecycle and adoption across the organization.
• Serve as primary IT liaison for FDA inspections and regulatory inquiries.
• Oversee enterprise IT risk assessment, testing, and remediation tracking.
• Own IT general controls for annual financial statement audit.
