Job summary

The City of Columbus is seeking a dynamic IT Governance BSA to assist in policy and standards development, and to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and technical staff. You will analyze business processes and document requirements for enterprise systems, guiding them from design through implementation and post-launch support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years of experience in business systems analysis.
• Experience evaluating and implementing technology solutions for business needs.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with users to evaluate and document business processes, needs and technology requirements.
• Defines requirements and parameters for proposed business systems and prepares timelines for implementation.
• Assesses hardware/software options and makes recommendations to management.
• Collaborates with data, database, and development staff to tailor systems to departmental needs.
• Develops testing strategies and coordinates deployment with staff and consultants.
• Documents development, testing, implementation and evaluation of systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science / information systems / database management / systems analysis or related field
