Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an AVP to support Markets FP&A for the Fixed Income and Equities lines across Mizuho Americas. The role emphasizes monthly deliverables, detailed revenue/expense analysis, and partnership with COOs, Product Control and head office in Japan.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in FP&A/financial analysis in financial services, with strong Excel/PowerPoint and familiarity with OneStream/Hyperion/Anaplan. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 3–5 years in financial services with FP&A, product control or financial analysis.
• Experience supporting Fixed Income and/or Equities in finance role preferred.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with OneStream/Hyperion/Anaplan/PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly FID and EQ deliverables: actuals, reporting, management packs.
• Prepare senior management presentations and ad hoc analyses by desk/product.
• Support weekly/monthly forecast and annual budget for FID/EQ.
• Analyze plan, forecast, YoY variance with front office collaboration.
• Analyze expenses and support monthly cost reviews with COOs.
• Maintain reporting standards and data integrity for HO (Japan).
• Manage hierarchies/mappings across systems; support inter-entity reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly allocations and inter-entity transfers in Americas.
• Streamline reporting/forecasting/budgeting including OneStream.
