Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an IT FinOps Lead in West Palm Beach, FL to establish end-to-end IT spend visibility and drive FinOps initiatives across run and project costs.

The role focuses on AWS cost management, SAP cost optimization, and portfolio oversight of software, SaaS, and IT assets. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT financial management, strong Excel and BI tool skills, and the ability to translate financial insights to business value for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT financial management, FinOps, or tech cost management.
• Direct AWS spend management with Cost Explorer, CUR, and Budgets.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA licensing/subscription models.
• Hands-on SAP for Me license, contract, and billing management.
• Experience managing SaaS/software spend and asset management.
• Proven IT budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Experience reviewing vendor contracts and invoices for cloud/software vendors.
• Advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool skills (Power BI/Tableau).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; TBM/Certs a plus.

• AWS Cost Management: Own AWS cost reporting, resource tagging, commitment management (Savings Plans/Reserved Instances), resource optimization, and cost anomaly detection
• SAP Cost Management: Administer SAP for Me, optimize user licenses, improve SAP landscape efficiency, and engage Business Process Owners to connect spend with business value

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, FinOps, or technology cost management across a broad enterprise IT portfolio
• Direct experience managing AWS spend, with strong hands-on expertise in Cost Explorer, Cost and Usage Reports, AWS Budgets, tagging strategy, and Savings Plans and Reserved Instance management
• Experience supporting the financial management of an SAP environment, including working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA licensing and subscription models
• Hands-on experience with SAP for Me (or its predecessor, the SAP ONE Support Launchpad) for license, contract, consumption, and billing management
• Experience managing software and SaaS spend, license optimization, and software asset management
• Proven experience building and managing IT operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Experience reviewing vendor contracts, statements of work, and invoices for cloud providers, software vendors, systems integrators, and managed service partners
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Amazon Quick Sight, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to executive and non-technical audiences
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence technical teams, business leaders, and vendors without direct authority
• FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and/or Technology Business Management (TBM) certification preferred
• Experience with cloud cost management or ITFM platforms (e.g., Apptio, CloudHealth, Cloudability, or similar) a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
