Job summary

Leidos, a leader in digital and mission innovations, seeks a Financial Specialist to support IT financial management across the lifecycle, from budget planning to audit readiness. The role works with program leadership to align resources with mission priorities and ensure compliance with federal standards and cloud strategies.

You'll develop spend plans, monitor obligations and expenditures, produce dashboards, and support end-of-year closeout.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA degree with 8–12 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 6–10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across projects.

Responsibilities

• Support IT financial management lifecycle including budget planning, execution tracking, and financial analysis.
• Develop spend plans aligned with IT project schedules and contract funding allocations.
• Track obligations, expenditures, and accruals for hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, and IT service contracts.
• Support lifecycle cost analyses and cost-benefit evaluations for IT investments.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, CORs, Contracting Officers, and technical leads to ensure funding alignment with IT deliverables.
