Job summary

First National Bank is seeking an Information Technology Sr. Data Analyst to partner with IT leadership, transforming financial and technology data into strategic insights.

You will build executive dashboards and perform IT budgeting analyses to optimize technology spend across the enterprise. Ideal candidates possess strong SQL skills, financial acumen, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or IT finance.
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost analysis.
• Proven analytical skills with detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to senior management.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI/Quicksight).
• Onsite 3+ days a week at Downtown Omaha campus.

Responsibilities

• Gather IT financial data from multiple sources.
• Write SQL queries to extract and transform data.
• Maintain data integrity throughout the financial reporting lifecycle.
• Provide data analysis to identify spending patterns and variances.
• Build executive dashboards and financial visualizations.
• Prepare regular budget reports and ad-hoc analysis for IT leadership.
• Present findings to senior IT leadership and finance stakeholders.
• Partner with IT Finance for budget planning and cost allocation.
• Support governance, audits with accurate data.
• Identify trends and anomalies in IT spending to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processes.
