First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking an Information Technology Sr. Data Analyst to partner with IT leadership and transform IT and financial data into strategic insights.

You will build executive dashboards, analyze IT spending, and identify cost optimization opportunities while collaborating with IT finance and leadership. The role requires strong SQL, budgeting experience, and mastery of data visualization tools like Power BI or QuickSight, with cloud awareness (AWS) and Snowflake

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in financial analysis, data analytics, or IT finance, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Financial acumen with budgeting, cost analysis, or IT financial management.
• Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior management.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting (Power BI, Quicksight, or similar).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehouses (Snowflake) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather IT financial data from multiple sources and write SQL queries to extract/transform data.
• Build executive-level dashboards and financial visualizations for leadership.
• Design and maintain IT financial reports and scorecards for leadership consumption.
• Prepare regular budget reports and ad-hoc analysis for IT Leadership.
• Partner with IT Finance for budget planning and cost allocation, supporting governance and compliance.
