Job summary

eBryIT, Inc. is seeking a W2VHE Computer Field Technician to support school-lab installations, desktop deployments, cart wiring for Chromebooks, and network imaging for Lafayette Parish School District. The role requires 2+ years in IT, reliable transportation, and the ability to crawl under desks to run wires.

Expect 1–2 days per week on site, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with ASAP project dates and travel within the Lafayette area. A strong work ethic and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

EBryIT is currently seeking a W2VHE Computer Field Technician to assist us with computer lab install to include desktops, cart wiring for Chromebooks and new school with laptop and desktop installs, installs over network imaging for the Lafayette Parish School District.

The Computer Field Technicians will be required to have 2+ years of business professional experience in the IT field. The technician will need to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to do wire. MUST have a good work ethic.

Project Dates: ASAP - Ongoing, when needed.

Workdays: 1-2 Days Per Week.

Hours of works: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (will vary).

Computer Field Technician will travel to customer sites within Lafayette area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with loading/unloading equipment.
• De-installation of old legacy systems.
• Installation of new computer systems.
• Imaging computers.
• Installs over network imaging.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the numerous school sites.
• Proof of good driving history. Good MVR over the last 3 years.
• Tech needs to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to the wire.
• Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel throughout the day.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma. Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services.
• Two-year college or technical sc hool preferred and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a good driving record over the last 3 years.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to all customer sites.
