Job summary

Jobtailor in Chicago is seeking an on-site IT support specialist for K-12 environments. You will assist staff, students, and faculty, setup Chromebooks and devices, and track IT assets across campuses.

The role requires valid driver's license, ability to travel between Chicagoland campuses, and availability Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Prior IT training or certifications are preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Some experience in IT support or troubleshooting is a plus.
• Formal IT training, coursework, or certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with Chromebooks (as a user or administrator) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Requirements

• Some experience in IT support or troubleshooting is a plus
• Formal IT training, coursework, or certifications are preferred
• Familiarity with Chromebooks (as a user or administrator) is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Must have a car for travel between locations and transportation of equipment
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance required
• Must complete a background check
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM
• Ability to travel between multiple school campuses in the Chicagoland area
