Job summary

Gr8ttek is seeking a regular Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team. The role involves hardware-focused break-fix services on client products, with responsibilities for service calls, asset control, and administrative tasks.

Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities are essential. The position reports to the Territory Supervisor and requires Dell/Lenovo certifications, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Technical school certification or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own a basic repair tool kit.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Accept and deliver all service calls assigned.
• Complete all administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory.
• May provide guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to drive yourself to client locations
• Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended
• Must own a basic repair tool kit
