Job summary

Gr8ttek is seeking a regular Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team. You will perform hardware-focused break fixes and solutions on client products, with emphasis on basic to moderately complex troubleshooting.

Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, you will handle service calls, administrative tasks, asset control, and may guide colleagues. Dell/Lenovo certification training is provided.

Qualifications

• Requires technical school certification or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware-focused break-fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Accept and deliver all service calls assigned.
• Complete administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Control and return of assets and inventory.
• May provide functional guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to drive yourself to client locations
• Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended
• Must own a basic repair tool kit
