Job summary

Interfor Corporation is seeking an IT Field Support Technician in Peachtree City, Georgia. This hands-on role supports mill operations with onsite IT services, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate enjoys travel, problem-solving, and working in industrial environments, bringing 3–5 years of IT field support experience and postsecondary technical education or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT field support or field support.
• Postsecondary technical education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Asset Lifecycle Management: Provide hands-on IT support at mill sites, including hardware installs, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Infrastructure: Perform basic physical IT work such as network drops, access point installs, and equipment moves.
• Projects: Support application rollouts, hardware refreshes, and onsite IT initiatives.
• Documentation: Log all work accurately in the ticketing system and flag recurring issues or risks.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal IT teams and vendors, escalating complex issues when needed.

The Field Support Technicianis a hands-on IT role focused on supporting mill operations through reliable,onsite technology support.
