Shift: Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with on-call responsibilities as per schedule

Job Location: Remote

The role you will contribute:

The Epic Clinical Team Supervisor needs a thorough understanding of system build and implementation, business problem analysis, and solution recommendation skills aligned with organizational goals. They ensure a secure, effective patient care system that improves outcomes, reduces costs, and enhances patient experience. Responsibilities include managing data, coordinating workflows with physicians and end users, and leading a team of analysts in designing, supporting, and testing Epic and third-party applications. Excellent communication skills across all levels of hospital staff are essential.

  • Proficiency or advanced knowledge of Epic, third-party solutions, and Microsoft Office
  • Building collaborative relationships and capturing technical and business requirements
  • Assessing workflows, identifying gaps, and developing future workflows
  • Designing, configuring, and maintaining Epic system modules and documentation
  • Developing and executing test scripts, performing testing, and documenting results
  • Staying current with industry trends and ensuring software updates meet Epic standards
  • Leading projects, providing technical guidance, and managing team performance
  • Supporting applications and mentoring new employees
  • Leading issue resolution and escalation, and managing customer requests
  • Coaching staff, monitoring productivity, and ensuring safety standards

Qualifications:

  • College Degree in business, IS, healthcare, or equivalent experience
  • Ongoing education participation
  • Leadership experience and ability to communicate technical concepts
  • 5+ years documenting workflows and process improvements
  • Epic Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and learn rapidly
  • Knowledge of HL7 concepts and healthcare applications environment
  • Understanding of clinical, revenue cycle, business, or technical workflows preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in clinical, revenue cycle, business, or technical roles
  • Experience with EMR applications and implementations
