Job summary

Symmons Industries in Massachusetts is seeking a dynamic Director of Information Technology to lead our IT strategy, operations, and security. You will partner with executives to enable business objectives while ensuring reliable, scalable technology.

You will oversee infrastructure, ERP/CRM, cloud environments, and cyber risk, drive IT projects, and mentor the IT team. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in an IT leadership/management role.
• Proven experience developing and executing IT strategy in a business environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, ERP systems, networks, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing IT projects, budgets, vendors, and managed service providers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the IT strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives and information security practices.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, ERP/CRM, and business applications.
• Manage IT projects from planning to delivery, budgeting and staffing.
