Jackson Municipal Airport Authority seeks a Director of Information Technology to provide strategic and operational IT leadership in a critical infrastructure environment. You will establish technology strategy, governance, cybersecurity, and service delivery priorities while building a top-tier IT team.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in IT/CS (Master’s preferred), 8+ years in IT with 5+ in leadership, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Eight years of IT experience with at least five years in leadership.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, budgets, personnel and complex projects.
• Experience in regulated or critical-infrastructure environments preferred.
• Experience developing teams, coaching leaders, and building cross-functional collaboration preferred.
• Preferred certifications: Network Administrator or equivalent; CompTIA.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for JMAA’s enterprise technology environment.
• Set technology strategy, governance, cybersecurity, resilience, and service delivery priorities.
• Build a cohesive, high-performing IT team with leadership development and accountability.
• Advise senior executives and the Board on technology investments, risks, and performance.
• Oversee planning, security, availability, lifecycle management of enterprise information systems; budgets, projects, vendors, contracts, policies.
