GreenState Credit Union is seeking an IT Developer to lead the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of real‑time integrations and interfaces across on‑premises and hosted software platforms. In this role, you will work with business and technical partners to deliver effective, secure data integration solutions. You will contribute throughout the software lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through deployment, operations, and ongoing support. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and third‑party vendors, as well as participation in production change management, application availability, and disaster recovery activities.
Candidates should have at least three to five years of hands‑on experience implementing integration solutions and a relevant college degree or equivalent professional experience. A strong understanding of the software lifecycle, including design, build, operation, and maintenance, is required. Applicants should have practical experience with integration technologies, API design and operations, Java, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, RAML, OAS, and messaging.
The successful candidate will understand cloud and on‑premises deployment models, integration patterns, and how to select an appropriate approach for a given business context. The ability to assess platform usage, integration scope, troubleshooting needs, and design patterns is important. Candidates should be able to discuss integration best practices, testing, process automation, go‑live readiness, technical architecture, and roadmaps. Experience with core banking data processing, imaging, CRM, account opening, loan origination, or job scheduling systems is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, independent problem‑solving, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate across organizational levels. Familiarity with financial institution operations and business processes is valuable. The role also requires staying current with technology trends, flexibility to work after hours and on call when needed, and the ability to meet bonding requirements.
Design, build, maintain, and support integrations between GreenState’s hosted and on‑premises platforms. Translate functional, data integration, and security specifications into reliable solutions, and create or update automated API functional, performance, and security tests. Work with the team to architect and support data integration and error‑reporting solutions, and collaborate with third‑party vendors to resolve issues and implement software or hardware successfully.
Develop workflow models and product specifications, prepare scope and effort estimates, and contribute ideas that improve business processes and operational efficiency. Configure production applications and follow established change management practices, documenting changes so affected parties can be notified and deployments can be repeated or reversed when necessary. Support application availability by facilitating contingency‑plan testing and assisting with annual disaster recovery preparation and testing. Uphold GreenState’s service standards, protect confidential member information, demonstrate teamwork, and support an inclusive workplace. Perform other duties as assigned.
The position offers a salary range of $103,793.30 to $121,346.42, along with a progressive benefits package. GreenState’s employee‑centered culture emphasizes opportunities to contribute to the organization, serve members, and support local communities.
