Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Specialist-Information Services Intermediate-Desktop to perform hands-on support for end-user devices, install hardware and software, and troubleshoot issues across Windows, Mac, and mobile environments.

You will collaborate with Networking, Servers, Applications, and vendors, manage tickets, and contribute to IT operations while supporting on-site users and projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in Service Desk.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Understands basic concepts of Information Services.
• Previous Phone support experience required.
• Willing to work any shift or day as needed by management.
• Recommends experience working in a Network Operations Center.

Responsibilities

• Installing hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Thin clients; scanners; printers; MFD; Apple devices; mobile devices; etc.
• Windows OS and MAC OS; Android; Microsoft O365; VDI.
• Diagnosing technical issues and problems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems related to network connectivity, software configuration, and hardware malfunctions.
• Standing, lifting up to 40 lbs., crouching beneath desks.
• Providing timely and effective technical support and communicating with end-users.
• Documenting and updating support tickets and coordinating with IT staff.
• Asset management in ticketing system; customer rounding; other duties as assigned.
