Job summary

Grain & Protein Technologies in Assumption, IL is seeking an IT Desktop Support Intern to join the IT team and provide second-line support for incidents and catalog requests. The internship is paid and full-time for the summer of 2027, with 40 hours per week onsite at our Assumption office, running from May 26th to July 30th.

You will assist with setup of hardware, software installations, and basic IT issues, learning to support business users while maintaining security policies and documented

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of PC skills including Windows and Microsoft Office products.
• Good communication and Customer Service skills.
• Some experience with connecting PCs/laptops/monitors and basic IT software installation.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to AGCO business users by handling incidents and requests in ServiceNow.
• Assisting users with basic IT issues immediately.
• Ensuring all authorizations are in place before completing requests.
• Cooperating with colleagues to keep IT support documentation up-to-date.
• Assisting with hardware setup for new devices and leavers.
