Job summary

Confidential University is seeking an IT & AV Support Specialist to provide on-site audio-visual and desktop support for classes and events, ensuring reliable technology in classrooms, hybrid courses, and events.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting users in classroom or event environments, and working knowledge of audio-visual systems, Zoom, desktop computers, cameras, microphones, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing audio-visual, desktop, classroom technology, or technical support.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment and integrated classroom technology.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with Zoom and hybrid/virtual meeting technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a classroom and event environment.
• Ability to remain calm and responsive when troubleshooting technology issues during live classes or events.

The IT & AV Support Specialist will provide on-site audio-visual and desktop support for classes and events at a university supporting both the Law School and School of International Affairs. The role will ensure classrooms, hybrid courses, and events have reliable technology and audio-visual capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting users in a classroom or event environment, and working knowledge of audio-visual systems, Zoom, desktop computers, cameras, microphones, and related equipment.
