Job summary

WhiteWater Express is seeking an IT Deployment Specialist to install and support systems, lead hands-on deployments, and resolve technical challenges across locations.

Five years in IT operations and a bachelor’s degree are required; strong knowledge of POS, network, hardware, and cameras is essential. Travel up to 85% and work in office and active car wash environments.

• Clear communication and documentation; explain issues to varied audiences.
• Travel up to 85% and work in office and active car wash environments; ITIL/CompTIA certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT deployments, upgrades, and migrations at new and existing locations.
• Install, configure, and test POS systems, including DRB/IC, payment kiosks, network devices.
• Troubleshoot networks, tunnel controllers, ground loops, cameras, phones, wireless systems.
• Provide advanced support for IT Support team and respond to site equipment failures.
• Partner with Operations and vendors; document work and provide training/post-deployment support.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute IT deployments, upgrades, and migrations at new and existing locations.
• Install, configure, and test POS systems, including DRB and IC, payment kiosks, network devices, and related hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot networks, tunnel controllers, ground loops, cameras, phones, wireless systems, and other site technology.
• Provide advanced support for the IT Support team, respond to site equipment failures, and participate in the support call queue when not in the field.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors; document completed work and provide training and post-deployment support.

What You’ll Bring

• Five years of IT operations experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, POS systems, IT hardware and software, control systems, low-voltage systems, and cameras.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage technical projects and work semi‑autonomously.
• Clear communication, effective documentation, and the ability to explain technical issues to a range of audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 85% and work in office and active car wash environments, including occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds. ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus.
