Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a motivated student for a data integration assistance role to help develop and validate integration solutions. This position supports understanding and aligning requirements with delivery in an Agile setting on the First Shift.

You will analyze ETL data flows, validate data from web services, and collaborate with integration developers while adhering to security standards and data integrity practices. This role is onsite at Vermeer’s campus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Currently a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or related field. Internship is a plus.
• Ability to validate data from various web services and integration technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, ETL).
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, data modeling and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques for accuracy.
• Engage with integration developers to design and verify solutions using Agile methodology.
• Follow security standards for all data, including PII.
• Ensure data-related activities meet requirements and data integrity standards.
• Test and diagnose developed integrations for defects.
• Participate in project planning sessions and review requirements.
