Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a thoughtful UX designer to join our digital product team in Iowa. You will research, design, prototype and measure analytics to support our product objectives and customers, dealers, and premium brand experiences.

You will learn and apply our design system, collaborate with software engineers, and help track metrics like user adoption and satisfaction. A proactive learner with strong questions and empathy will thrive on our team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Marketing or related field.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of user experience best practices and UI standards.
• Working knowledge of design tools (Figma) and project lifecycles (agile, lean, waterfall) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work across the design lifecycle to research solutions, design concepts and prototypes with software engineers.
• Understand digital product users and personas through user research and observation.
• Design within the established design system and component library.
• Track and document key metrics such as user adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other UX designers and participate in team ceremonies to build a unified user experience across teams.

Work across the design lifecycle to research solutions, design concepts and prototypes and collaborate with software engineers to bring the concept into the product.2. Gain an understanding of digital product users and personas by participating in user research and observation.3. Learn and demonstrate the ability to design within an established design system and component library.4. Track and document key metrics that support the product team such as user adoption and customer satisfaction.5.
