IT & Cybersecurity Manager

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of IT & Cybersecurity Team Manager. The successful candidate will oversee team operations, coordinate incident response, support team development, and resolve technical issues. This role combines technical expertise with strong managerial skills. The position is based in Michigan, with frequent travel to California, South Korea, and other locations to collaborate with global teams and projects.

What You Will Do

1. Team Management and Leadership:
   • Assign tasks, prioritize work, set goals, and manage team performance
   • Provide coaching, mentoring, and conduct performance evaluations
2. IT Infrastructure and Security System Management:
   • Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems
   • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
   • Conduct vulnerability assessments and improve security measures
   • Implement applications and align infrastructure with Hyundai Motor Group HQ standards in Korea
3. Project Management:
   • Plan and oversee IT and cybersecurity projects
   • Manage budgets and resource allocation
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Create and maintain IT and cybersecurity documentation and reports
   • Report on emerging security threats and technology trends
5. Cybersecurity Incident Response:
   • Coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents
   • Analyze incidents, prepare reports, and develop follow-up action plans
   • Manage internal and external audits
6. Additional Responsibilities:
   • Collaborate with Sr. Manager on resource planning, goal setting, and technology roadmap development

What You Will Bring to the Role

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• At least 9 years of technical IT experience, including hardware/software installation, security, and projects
• Experience in cybersecurity incident response and IT infrastructure management
• Proven team management and project management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required
