Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a security operations assistant in California City to assist with incident triage, customer requests, and troubleshooting of security applications and appliances. The role emphasizes applying cybersecurity and privacy principles and maintaining thorough audit-able records.

A basic familiarity with scripting and cross-platform OS knowledge is beneficial. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable interpreting information from security tools.

Qualifications

• Handle customer requests including security configurations and investigations.
• Maintain records of triage activities for audits.
• Troubleshoot security applications and appliances.
• Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles.
• Familiar with proxy and web content filtering tools.
• Basic programming skills are a plus.
• Familiar with scripting languages such as bash, powershell, python, KQL preferred.
• Well-rounded technical knowledge in Windows, Mac, Linux OS.
• Experience system administration and/or network infrastructure is a plus.
