Job summary

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is seeking an IT Support professional to set up and support desktops, laptops, and printers on Windows and Mac OS, run data cables, and manage IP surveillance systems. You will support Office 365, video conferencing apps like Zoom and Teams, and assist with events.

Work with IT staff on daily administration, upgrades, and patches. National travel up to 20% may be required; a strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience with support Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of existing network programs and capabilities.
• Excellent workstation and network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must possess the ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to multitask at a high level in a fast-paced work environment and work efficiently under pressure.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
• May be required to work on-call or long hours in case of network malfunction.
• Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and support desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets on Windows and Mac OS.
• Running, terminating and testing data cables.
• Setup, configuring, and maintaining IP surveillance systems - to include wiring, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Supporting staff utilizing MS Office Suite, G-Suite, Adobe, DocuSign.
• Support Video conferencing software including Zoom, WebEx, MS Team, Google Meet.
• Work with other IT staff to assist in the daily administration and upgrading of workstation software and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and upgrade desktop workstations and laptops as directed by the IT Director. Installing system patches and updates.
• Maintain hardware inventory of all equipment and peripherals, including spare equipment and equipment in need of repair.
• Assist with IT Support at Foundation Events.
• Support Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the organization's evolving needs or the department’s mission.
