Job summary

Covenant Day School in Matthews, NC is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide frontline technical support for faculty, staff, and students. You will diagnose hardware, software, network issues, and manage end-user systems while collaborating with the IT team and Director of Technology.

The role is full-time, on-site, with year-round responsibilities, including maintaining classroom technology, user accounts, and network services. On-site presence is required daily at the Matthews campus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support, help desk operations, or a related IT role.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, repair, imaging, and device deployment.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPN, DHCP, and DNS.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds and travel between campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline desktop and help desk support to faculty, staff, and students.
• Troubleshoot Windows computers, peripherals, printers, and Canon systems.
• Image, deploy, maintain, and track computers and IT assets.
• Support classroom technology (ViewSonic, SmartPanel, projectors, document cameras).
• Support Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and school apps.
• Troubleshoot software installation, updates, and email issues on devices.
• Assist with wireless, VPN, access points, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, passwords, and access rights.
