Job summary

EY’s Government and Public Sector Assurance - Tech Risk - Analyst role in McLean invites you to join a team delivering IT risk and assurance services to federal/state/local education clients. You will work on IT control testing, audits, and client engagements while developing sector expertise.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in information assurance or IT risk, with travel up to 80% in some cases and in-person work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, IS/IT or closely related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
• Ability to obtain federal security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to ~30% (metro-area) to ~80% in the state/region as needed.
• Comfortable working in-person/onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality services on financial statements, attestations and IT control projects.
• Conduct research, test IT general and application controls, and prepare for client meetings.
• Build relationships with client personnel and deepen sector knowledge.
• Collaborate across GPS teams to address performance improvement, program effectiveness and IT risk.
