Job summary

EY GPS in the United States seeks an IT assurance professional to help clients in the Government & Public Sector practice. You will support performance improvement, program effectiveness, audit readiness and IT controls across federal, state, local and education clients, working with cross‑functional teams.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience, ability to present results, and willingness to travel (up to 30–80% depending on project).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
• Experience preparing written or verbal materials and presenting project results to clients.
• Must be able to obtain federal security clearance.
• Travel up to 30% (federal practice) and up to 80% in certain state/local education needs; onsite work required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality client services on financial statements, attestation engagements and IT control projects.
• Conduct research, assist in testing IT general and application controls, and lead client meetings when appropriate.
• Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels and deepen sector and client knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members to solve issues and gain client agreement.
