Job summary

EY GPS is seeking professionals to join our Government & Public Sector practice on the Technology Risk (IT Audit) team. You will deliver IT general and application controls testing, assist with client meetings, and build client relationships across federal, state, local and education clients.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, can obtain a federal security clearance, and have 2+ years of information assurance, information security, risk management, or IT controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field
• Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance
• 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls, leading standards (e.g., COSO, ERM, FISCAM, FISMA, NIST)
• Participated in relevant audit/control testing engagement (e.g., CFO Act/FISCAM, OMB Circular A-123 internal control over financial reporting/Systems (ICOFR/ICOFS) assessments, audit readiness (DOD FIAR), ATC-320 SOC-1 Examinations (SSAE-18), and FISMA security reviews/implementations)
• Understanding of IT security controls and NIST/FISMA guidance and GAO FISCAM/FAM/NIST RMF methodologies

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT general and application controls testing for financial statement audits and IT projects
• Prepare for and potentially lead client meetings; deepen client knowledge
• Collaborate with team members to promote an inclusive working environment
• Assist with presenting project results to clients
