Job summary

World Kinect in Miami seeks an IT Business Controls Manager to partner with technology and digital teams, strengthening IT controls and driving sustainable solutions. You will move beyond testing into a business-facing, remediation-focused role, influencing outcomes across IT and business stakeholders.

You will lead SOX/compliance efforts, design ITGCs, and coordinate remediation plans while advancing governance and risk practices within a collaborative, action-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Audit, Internal Audit, IT Controls, or SOX environments.
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and SOX compliance.
• Experience partnering with technology and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive remediation and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Technology and Digital teams on IT controls.
• Coordinate IT control matters across internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement ITGCs and automated controls.
• Validate that controls operate effectively and sustain improvements.
• Partner with Internal Audit to assess gaps and drive remediation.
