Job summary

World Fuel seeks an IT Business Controls Manager to partner with Technology and Digital teams, strengthening our IT control environment and driving sustainable solutions.

Ideal candidates have an IT Audit or Internal Audit background, transitioning to a business-facing, remediation-focused role with influence and cross-functional collaboration. You will connect IT, Internal Audit, and External Audit to identify risks early and drive timely remediation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Audit, Internal Audit, IT Controls, or SOX environments.
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and SOX.
• Experience partnering across technology and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive remediation and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Technology and Digital teams on IT controls.
• Coordinate IT control matters across internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement IT General Controls (access, change management, operations) and automated controls.
• Work with IT teams to build practical, scalable control solutions.
• Validate controls operate effectively and monitor remediation progress.
