Job summary

Prl Inc is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist the IT Manager with software troubleshooting, deployment, and user support. The role focuses on implementing security tools, ensuring compliance, and maintaining documentation across systems.

You will work on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and core IT systems while developing knowledge of CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 requirements. Overnight travel may be possible.

Qualifications

• Educational background in IT/CS/C cybersecurity is preferred.
• 2–4 years in IT support or related technical roles.
• Experience with Windows, printers, networking, and user access issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic security tools.
• Ability to learn CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and related requirements.
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily hardware, software, network, and user issues.
• Assist with implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of IT solutions.
• Support Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and cybersecurity tools.
• Contribute to CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance activities and evidence gathering.
• Document procedures, maintain system records, and monitor security controls.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, patching, and monitoring.
