Zusammenfassung

Managed Group LLC is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and improve security controls across client and internal environments. You will support incident response, endpoint security, M365 configurations, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities with a focus on NIST/CMMC readiness.

You will own security processes, maintain documentation, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders while upholding established security standards and best practices across multiple

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field is required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
• Experience with SIEM, incident response, and vulnerability management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security configurations and Defender tools is expected.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and respond to security alerts across endpoint, email, identity, and cloud platforms.
• Triage and investigate phishing, malware, and unauthorized access indicators.
• Contain incidents via isolation, credential resets, policy changes, and IOC blocking.
• Coordinate escalations with leadership and clients and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Configure Defender for Endpoint/Office and Secure Exchange Online within M365.
• Support vulnerability scans, remediation, and patch coordination.
• Assist with compliance execution aligned to NIST 800-171 / CMMC.
