Job summary

City of Cincinnati, Metropolitan Sewer District IT co-op program, seeks student interns to support IT operations for the Spring 2027 term. Interns will collaborate with MSD IT staff on real assignments, gaining hands-on experience in helpdesk ticketing, device and system support, and enterprise applications.

Selected students will be treated as full members of the IT team, responsible for task management, scheduling, and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Associate or undergraduate student.
• Major – Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or closely related.
• Full-time availability during internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work.
• Enrolled in accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with helpdesk ticket management and device/system support.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Work closely with MSD IT staff on projects aligned to student experience.
• Maintain documentation and deliver on assigned IT tasks within deadlines.
