Qualifications

• Must currently be a college student actively taking classes in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to work in the United States.
• Submit a City job application for employment.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to practical problems under supervision.
• Interact with plant personnel including management, administrative, operations, and maintenance staff.
• Update underground piping drawings and CIP maps using AutoCAD.
• Assist with design, startup, and project management tasks for wastewater treatment projects.
