Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business administration, information technology, or related field.
• 1 year IT job placement/recruiting experience.
• Understanding IT labor market requirements and trends.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with multicultural and multilingual populations preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook plus Zoom/Teams.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Connect IT/Cybersecurity training program with participants to explore job opportunities, internships, and employers.
• Evaluate a client’s skills, work history, interests, strengths, and growth areas for employment.
• Provide individualized coaching on resume writing, interview prep, job search, and workplace culture.
• Teach effective job search strategies.
• Build relationships with HR managers, recruiting firms, career centers and employers to find opportunities.
• Match clients’ skills with open positions and assist with onboarding and hiring.
