Job summary

The County of Riverside is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst I for the Auditor-Controller’s Office in Riverside. The role focuses on supporting critical operating systems, modernizing technology, and ensuring system reliability across financial applications such as Aumentum and Workiva.

The candidate will work with accounting and admin teams, coordinate with vendors, and assist in testing and implementation.

Qualifications

Experience with financial applications such as Aumentum or Workiva.
Experience with help desk for hardware and software issues.
Experience maintaining hardware and system updates.

Responsibilities

Conduct systems analysis and design of business processes involving evaluation of current and proposed information, business process flow, available and emerging technology hardware and software, and cost/benefits.
Develop and document user requirements from end-user input for new and existing systems, business processes, and applications.
Coordinate and communicate with end users, management, staff, and vendors on project issues and status.
Develop project work plans and schedules, and monitor project resources including staff time, vendor work, and finances.
Prepare project documents, requirements, reports, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, and quality assurance and control standards.
Maintain, support, and administer software applications.
