Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Critical Incident Command Analyst for Columbus, Atlanta, or Roswell. The role interfaces with IT and business units to gather requirements, create specifications, and ensure project delivery aligns with budgets and timelines.

The position focuses on process improvement, governance reporting, and cross-functional coordination across IT and business teams, with after-hours and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining enterprise policies, procedures and operating standards including preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions for meetings with management. Regular office environment.
• May sit for long periods of time; talk and hear regularly; use of hands; travel required less than 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Works with business partners as the primary interface between Information Technology and specific business areas, identifying business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Determines if solutions exist or if new solutions are needed and provides input regarding buy vs build decisions.
• Ensures proper integration of solutions that impact work processes and negotiates agreements and commitments between business partners and IT.
• Provides business reporting and analytical support, particularly pertaining to governance and performance, utilizing data sources and analytical tools.
• Participates in defining and streamlining division level processes, procedures, and templates to support process maturity goals.
