Job summary

Synovus Financial Corp is seeking a Critical Incident Command Analyst to act as the IT liaison for Columbus, Atlanta, or Nashville operations. You will translate business needs into technical specs, manage requirements, and ensure delivery within schedules and budgets while aligning with IT strategy.

You will model processes, support governance reporting, and collaborate across business units and IT to implement reliable, scalable incident management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS or related field.
• 10+ years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining enterprise policies, procedures and operating standards.
• Strong analytical, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business unit operations to identify automation opportunities and models requirements.
• Translates requirements into functional specifications for IT and manages changes and traceability.
• Assists with business process redesign and ensures compliance with organizational standards.
• Facilitates communication between business units and IT from requirements to implementation.
• Participates in planning sessions to improve business processes and define division-level procedures.
• Develops reports and governance metrics using SQL-driven reports and Business Objects.
• Maintains knowledge of tech trends and educates IT on business direction.
