Job summary

Synovus is seeking an IT Financial Analyst to join the Atlanta or Columbus team. This role serves as the primary interface between Information Technology and business units, gathering requirements and converting them into project specifications, budgets, and schedules.

The position focuses on process analysis, developing business models, and delivering SQL-driven reports with Business Objects to support governance and performance improvements across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Highly prefer degree in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the expert regarding the business units supported and understands IT systems and capabilities.
• Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for IT.
• Develops business models to represent requirements, such as use cases and data flow diagrams.
• Provides input on buy vs build decisions and participates in planning with business units to improve processes.
• Produces and maintains reports using SQL-driven tools and Business Objects.
• Ensures solutions align with organizational standards and governance.
