Job summary

HACLA is seeking an IT Business Analyst to translate business needs into IT solutions within our strategic initiatives. You will gather requirements, model processes, and coordinate with project sponsors to shape project scope and timelines.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient IT deployments across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in information technology with emphasis on business systems analysis.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development; project management skills preferred.
• Desirable certifications: CBAP or CCBA.

Responsibilities

• Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of the Authority’s stakeholders.
• Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
• Interviews stakeholders to gather requirements via workshops, surveys, and use cases.
• Plan, develop, test and implement software programs used for IT resource management.
• Develops and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications.
• Translates customer requirements into functional requirements for developers and project teams.
• Manages and tracks requirements throughout the project lifecycle and communicates changes.
