Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs with IT solutions across current programs and initiatives. The role involves translating requirements, supporting software implementations, and collaborating with IT, PMs, and business teams to deliver efficient system changes and enhanced performance.

The position emphasizes experience with SDLC, agile storytelling (epics/features/stories), and strong communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science or Arts Degree.
3+ years' experience with an SDLC, system development methodologies and requirements gathering including business process mapping.
Previous Business Analysis experience.
Ability to translate business needs into system specifications, familiar with agile framework and processes - Epic, Feature and Story creation.
Experience working with project teams from project initiation to closing.
Excellent critical thinking, process analysis and mapping skills (Visio, Lucid) and strong collaboration, influencing, and listening skills.
Good oral and verbal communication skills.
Work in office 3-days per week; additional in-office days may vary by division/department.
PMI-PBA, CBAP or CAPM certifications (in good standing) preferred.
Agile Practice Certification – CSM or AACoBuilding or Construction experience could be relevant.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy and Planning: analyze and provide system solution options and functional specifications.
Assists with issue identification, analysis and resolution of application issues.
Support new software implementations and business case enhancements.
User Experience Analysis: document current and future state solutions, meeting notes, decisions and risks.
Create requirements, design specifications and acceptance criteria; participate in sprint planning.
Requirements Elicitation: facilitate sessions to identify end-to-end solutions across business areas.
Requirements Definition and Management: develop functional, reporting, security, and technical requirements.
QA support: collaborate with QA to test and validate requirements.
Project coordination: manage tasks, timelines and small project teams; ensure timely delivery.
Act as liaison between IT and business groups to align objectives.
